The Water Authority meets the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at
7:30 p.m. at the Downingtown Municipal Water Authority. Each term of office is for a
five year period.
Downingtown Municipal Water Authority
is a 2.5 million gallon per day water treatment plant. The water comes from the Marsh
Creek Reservoir, which feeds the beautiful east branch of the Brandywine Creek. This state
of the art facility went into service September, 1994 and will provide Downingtown
residents with safe, economical drinking water for many years to come.
