Leaf Collection

Leaves are collected each fall by the Public Works Department. Look for notices of pickup dates on our website.  Small amounts of leaves may be deposited in the yard waste dumpster behind Borough Hall. Disposing of leaves in trash or recycling toters is prohibited. 

2023 Leaf Collection Schedule

October 23 through December 8

Schedule (weather permitting):

West of Rte. 322: Mondays & Tuesdays

East of Rte. 322: Wednesdays & Thursdays

Lake Drive Area: Fridays

Guidelines

· Residents are responsible to have all leaves piled at their curb by the morning of their scheduled pick-up day.

· Keep all vehicles as far away as possible from leaf collection areas.

· Piles of leaves that include tree branches, glass, cans, rocks, plastics or any other debris will not be picked up.  This type of material could cause serious damage to our equipment and employees.

· Please remember the schedule is limited to one leaf collection per house, per week.

· This schedule may be adjusted in the event of inclement weather. 

· Leaves that are placed in alleys will be picked up as time permits.
