PUBLIC NOTICE
 
Notice is given that at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the Downingtown Borough Municipal Complex, located at 4 W. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Borough Council of the Borough of Downingtown opened and promptly continued a public hearing on the revised Conditional Use Application #2020-001, submitted by Applicant Francis X. Taraschi, whereby Applicant seeks conditional use approval in accordance with the regulations and standards set forth in §287-27.D(4), §287-30.C, and §287-137 of the Borough Code to allow for the construction of a High Density Townhouse Development consisting of 66 townhouse units and related improvements on the properties bearing UPI No. 11-11-105, 11-11-105.1, 11-11-105.2, 11-11-106, 11-11-107, 11-11-107.1, 11-11,108, 11-11-109 also known as Trestle View Village located at Prospect Avenue, in the R-3 Single-Family Detached/Attached and Two-Family Residential District.
Although the hearing was opened on the evening of February 3, 2021, no evidence was presented and no public comments were made regarding the substance of the application.  In order to ensure all property owners are afforded notice of the hearing in accordance with the Borough Zoning Ordinance, the hearing was opened and promptly thereafter continued to the evening of Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 7:00 PM.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at the Downingtown Municipal Complex located at 4 W. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Borough Council of the Borough of Downingtown will hear testimony and public comment in its hearing on the revised Conditional Use Application #2020-001, submitted by Applicant Francis X. Taraschi, as described in greater detail above.
A copy of the Conditional Use Application is available for public inspection at the Borough Administration office  during normal business hours; Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. POLICE OFFICER CONSORTIUM TESTING

Caln Township & Downingtown Borough Police Departments

The Caln Township Police Department, and Downingtown Borough Police Department, Chester County Pennsylvania, are accepting applications for the position of full-time police officer to fill multiple vacancies. Starting salary, for both departments, is approximately $69,000; in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
