Beginning January 2012, the Borough's refuse hauler, A.J. Blosenski, will no longer pick up tree branches.

The Borough will be picking them up on the 2nd Monday of

February 2012 on Thursdays only.

All lights, stands, ornaments, etc must be removed from the trees and disposed of in the regular trash.

Borough Council has deferred action on Ordinance 2012-01 DMWA Wells
and Water Service to the Council meeting scheduled on
Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.

A copy of the ordinance may be examined and obtained for the cost thereof at Downingtown Borough Hall, 4 West Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, prevailing time, and certified copies are on file at the Chester County Law Library, 201 West Market Street, Suite 2400, West Chester, PA 19380, and at the Daily Local News, 250 North Bradford Avenue, West Chester, PA 19382.  If any person who wishes to attend the meeting has a disability and/or requires an auxiliary aid, service or other accommodation to observe or participate in the proceedings, he or she should contact Steve Sullins, Borough Manager, at 610-269-0344, to discuss how those needs may be accommodated.
